 What people dont know and the common kind of unreasonable customers :O



Unreasonable customers may not come everyday, but we are know that no matter which field and how good your work is, there must be unreasonable people out there which you will have to deal with more or less. It had never really came to me until I remembered how I used to be very frustrated over customers often when I start to deal with customers of various ages during high school and during the beginning of my career, One thing that trigger my memory was another unreasonable customer today. I cope up with costumers everyday, or at least 5 days a week. Well,also,what I call customers are not only customers who paid, but those who inquire for quotation included.

This is one of the very rare service which provides custom made costume of any design as long as there is a clear design sheet of the back and front view made by tailors with more than 15 years field experience.

On this page, there are various things and mistake people make that tend to makes me facepalm/annoyed/thankful/gain experience/be stronger/be wiser/pissed all the time. 


First things first, there is one absolute mistake that people tend to make all the time and unless you have opened a page yourself, you do not know that you are making it. 

'' COMMENTING IN PICTURES TO REQUEST THE PAGE TO INBOX YOU''

Okay, do you know why I say this is an absolute mistake to make? 




First is. Unlike your normal original page, if you have opened a service page,fan page,ect, YOU CANNOT INBOX PEOPLE USING THE PAGE (Like for example, search for the person who commented to inbox them and inbox them, there is no way you can inbox them as your page, UNLESS, THEY INBOX TO YOUR PAGE FIRST!) 

Second  is. If you really want the costume quotation, why don't you just read the info page and inbox us directly instead of complaining that we did not inbox you when we cant? 

Third is. We do not often get notifications for page and especially pictures or albums comment. Im not sure if this is a facebook error or what, but if you want to get quotation, like I mentioned, just inbox us directly and stop sneaking around the pictures! 



Now, for the second round. What is the most Hateful thing people do? 


Of course, some people, I admit are really smart, knowing that pages dont often receive notifications for pictures comments and also posts, they tend to do things which are really hateful. PROMOTING THEIR OWN COSTUME PROVIDING SERVICE,PRODUCTS,PAGES, OR ANYTHING ELSE,Without my approval or me knowing ON MY SERVICE PAGE! And one which piss me off the most is, SPAMMING ON EVERY SINGLE PICTURE OF THE COSTUME WHICH IS GENUINELY MADE BY US (OUR SERVICE) WITH THEIR OWN SERVICE, AS IF IT'S MADE BY THEM! Thinking about this really piss me off. I would not be pissed if they actually contact me personally or inbox, with my approval first instead of taking credits for themselves for what we do from hardwork! 


For last round, I will openly discuss about unreasonable people I have deal with, I will not use names, because,Do take note the reason I type this is not because I want the whole world to know how bad they are or how pissed I am but I want you guys to take up this as an extra knowledge to be mentally prepare for things like this because you will need it in any kind of jobs! Trust me! I never knew how useful this was until I had take up various freelance job, and relate it to my everyday life replying customer online!



So what are the 3 most common types of unreasonable customer which I have personally deal before? 

1. THE CHEAP PLUCK PEOPLE.
   -> No matter where you are, either you are providing something cheap or expensive. There is one important fact that people tend to forget, what's important is not only the price, but do you actually get what you are paying for? If they want high quality work, they will naturally have to pay for a higher price. Of course, alot of people tend to forget about the fact that you pay for what you get.
  -> From the customers I deal with in different countries, countries with the most CHEAP PLUCK people are mostly asians. Sadly including my own country, Malaysia. But Luckily, our country actually has people who truly appreciate the work with the price and Im very glad about it. Those are people who makes me motivated to continue doing this business for a better future. Majority are the customers who actually really get their costume made by our service before.


2. THE OLD PEOPLE WANNABES.
    -> They are people who are very stingy about their idea, once they had heard about how bad ur service is, from those who had never tried it themselves without actually knowing the real deal, they never change their mind EVEN IF THEY ACTUALLY GET A HIGH QUALITY AND GOOD COSTUME, THEY WILL MAKE A HUGE DEAL OF THE MOST TINIEST FLAWS.
    For Example; The size is different by 0.5cm to a few cm (In fact, the difference is so small that it doesnt create any visible difference ,it was unavoidable as we are genuinely using handmade work but not machines). The pocket is too small (But they did not mention to expand the size more than what the wanted, thus it was fitting size), The size is not right (But the measurement for sizing was provided by themselves!) , The price is too expensive for this costume! (They would start comparing cheap and low quality works of china's factory machine copy-and-paste stocks with high quality custom made only for you with your very own size once u order by professionals, I was angry when I first dealt with this, but soon I got more wise and would just suggest or tell people to go ahead and look for china stocks if they want cheaper options (Low quality works) , one of the button fell off (It's unavoidable sometimes, even the most expensive and high quality costume might have a button falling off) and they would basically come to a conclusion that the costume is very very bad just because of the slightest flaw ignoring all the other things that makes it worth the price!

3. THE I KNOW EVERYTHING (BUT I DONT) 
    -> There are people who tends to NEVER LISTEN OR READ anything you type, or they did, but just ignored it completely and ASK YOU THE SAME QUESTION RIGHT AFTER YOU ANSWER THEM!


You may think this is purely an innocent mistake and I shouldn't be pissed about it, but trust me, IF YOU ACTUALLY ANSWERED THE SAME QUESTION OVER AND OVER AGAIN FOR MORE THAN 2 TIMES, THAT'S IT, THIS CUSTOMER IS AN IDIOT.

   -> A reversed version of the one above is, They actually listen or read the statement, but they would block u off as if they know it more than you and start to mock you for being dumb when they are the dumb one for saying something like they know it when they have no experience at all about it. For example. Some customer would request for a costume which has parts defying gravity and could not be made out in real life like how the character is without any support to make sure it stands. But when we explain to the customer from our tailor's experience of making costume for more than 15 years, the customer would insist its possible and send us a step by step tutorial of the costume which is totally unrelated and totally different design like it's the same thing. It's basically like a chicken teaching a bird how to fly.

This is not the end of unreasonable customers. There are more types, but 3 of the one listed above are more common. What's important is to be prepared. I hope the post above helps more or less. Took me awhile to type it all out! I'm sorry if I offended anyone by writing this. I guess I got kinda unprofessional and pissed while flashing back when typing whats above thus you might be able to see how fierce it is. Don't take it in mind, despite how I am pissed, Im still glad about it :)
